THE END DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE MEANS
The fledgling Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) held an election last month (December) even without the participation of the Basketball Association of the Philippines, the original stakeholder.
Under the Bangkok Agreement signed by the representatives of the
SBP and BAP and witnessed by corrupt FIBA secretary general Patrick Baumann and company, the national basketball federation in the Philippines is to be known as "BAP-SBP."
So how can it now be called simply "SBP?"

Even a non-intellectual would know that the Bangkok Agreement is being violated in conspiracy with Baumann and his henchmen.
The recent election remains illegitimate and null and void, even if recognition is given by SBP's favorite laughingstock, the triumvirate of Baumann, Boris Stankovic and Bob Ephinston. A lot of Filipino basketball fans are laughing their hearts out, knowing how the SBP holds the FIBA Secretariat by their balls and could easily manipulate them. Of course, money talks under their "special arrangement."
That's why it is imperative for the respectful members of the FIBA organization from Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania and America to seek the resignation of world basketball's Three Stooges surnamed Baumann, Stankovic and Ephinston.
If the Three Stooges think that kicking out the BAP from the FIBA would have solved the crisis in the Philippines' national basketball leadership, they have another thing coming.
Sleepless nights are to be experienced by people who have done
injustice to their fellowmen. The incorruptible universal law of karma will soon catch up on them, if not the long arm of the law.
Corruption is what The Three Stooges carry like a badge of honor. And it's time for the reputable members of the FIBA organization to let them know that "enough is enough" and kick them out in order to regain the FIBA's integrity and credibility that were tarnished because of their mismanagement.
Baumann, Stankovic and Ephinston are greedy racists of the first order with the way they have treated Asians and people of color.
It's very encouraging that God is on the BAP's side and the Lord Almighty is watching over their despicable decisions, specifically when "blood money" changes hands.
The Arab Spring has struck despotic rulers throughout the world. And it is an unfinished business to date.
Sports is also plagued by despotic and corrupt leaders in the world, specifically the FIBA Secretariat, and it won't be long before it goes through a catharsis and imposes its own Arab Spring.
In 2013, which is known as the Year of the Snake, the FIBA General Membership should wake up and dismiss the "snakes" in their midsts.
To refresh your memory, you Baumann approved the list of stakeholders of 87 associations to vote for the new leadership in the BAP-SBP under the Bangkok Agreement. A year later, 65 member associations attended the BAP elections while the SBP only had 11 member associations in their own elections.
Still, you dared to recognize the SBP group even if it was clearly in the minority.
Obviously, a special consideration was struck between the FIBA Secretariat and SBP in exchange for the recognition.
You, Stankovic and Ephinston evidently sold out for thirty pieces of silver. What a shame!
The ball is now in your hands. The forced resignation of Baumann, Stankovic and Ephinston is the only option if the FIBA is to regain its prominent status before the eyes of the international basketball world.
Thank you very much.
